Spafinder Wellness 365 has announced winners in its 2013 Readers Choice Awards, highlighting some of the world’s most popular retreats—some of which focus on wellness and beauty from the inside out—as voted by those who have been, seen and experienced first hand.
Spas in Australia, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, South Africa and Thailand won the top spots, while the Country Awards category went to the top hotel, destination or resort spas across 44 countries and regions. Category honors were awarded to the top 10 spas and wellness locations in 26 classifications, from best beach spas to best for families to best fitness and wellness programs.
This is the first year awards were presented to fitness, yoga, and nutrition locations and programs, in addition to spas.
The 2013 Readers’ Choice Awards attracted an unprecedented level of worldwide consumer participation, providing the most comprehensive consumer assessment of the global spa and wellness market available.\
“We believe that keeping well is not a luxury, but a necessity for people to live their fullest and best lives possible,” said Spafinder® Wellness, Inc.’s Chief Brand Officer Mia Kyricos. “Our passion is to provide meaningful resources, like our popular Readers’ Choice Awards, that give consumers a chance to vote and share their love for favored wellness destinations with one another.”
