Café Gratitude, the beloved 100% organic and plant-based restaurant, underwent a retail refresh last month courtesy of a new partnership with natural product mecca The Detox Market and its co-founder Romain Gaillard.
Love Serve Remember (the parent company for Café Gratitude and Gracias Madre in Southern California) CEO Lisa Bonbright, Chief Branding Officer Brennan Woo, and Bonbright’s daughter, Paris, will work closely with Gaillard to curate a “Discovery Wall” at the Arts District, Larchmont Village and Venice restaurant locations. These will feature The Detox Market’s top-selling health and wellness products. The offerings will also be available at LSR’s forthcoming upscale Gratitude restaurant in Newport Beach where it will be sold in the adjacent To-Go space.
“Café Gratitude was founded on the core principle of nourishing the body, soul and spirit with 100% organic, plant-based fare that is prepared with the purest ingredients available. With this collaboration we are able to offer our guests the opportunity to extend that experience with incredible products that support their health and wellness from the inside out,” says Lisa Bonbright, CEO of Love Serve Remember.
The Detox Market “Discovery Wall” will feature a stream-lined display of hand-selected items made with all-natural ingredients in line with the ethos behind the environmentally responsible family of restaurants. Products will include essentials from Odacité skincare, including Pure Elements Serum Concentrates, individually crafted to regenerate and repair the skin, and an exfoliating Jasmine Mimosa Body Scrub with walnut shell powder and gentle cleansing agents to purify the skin.

Additional skincare will include The Detox Market exclusives like The Beauty Chef’s Glow Inner Powder, a supplement from Australia made with certified natural and organic ingredients, and True From Sweden’s All You Need is Me, a multi-use balm. Tea enthusiasts can sip their way to inner (and outer) beauty with The Teatox Company’s 14 Tea Detox, featuring medicinal detox herb blends hand-crafted in Canada for The Detox Market, and, by extension, Café Gratitude. The collection of products will be rounded out with additional health and wellness items from Pursoma, W3ll People, Hope Gillerman Organics, and BKR.
“I’ve been a longtime fan of Café Gratitude and their underlying mission to provide their guests with cuisine that isn’t just delicious, but has a conscience, as well,” says Gaillard of the partnership. “There is a natural connection to the work I do to source the best products available, and it’s exciting to be able to join forces and offer Café Gratitude diners a comprehensive health & wellness experience that goes far beyond the food they are putting in their bodies.”
Gaillard’s most prized items officially hit the shelves at the Larchmont Village restaurant on January 1st with the “Discover Walls” at the Arts District and Venice locations set to debut this week. The launch at Gratitude in Newport Beach will follow in February. The full array of The Detox Market’s offerings can be found at their flagship Los Angeles shop at 8380 Beverly Blvd. in West Hollywood.
