Nature & Health Natural Beauty Awards Announced

  • Burts bee products shouldn’t be on your list
    Their parent company sells in China therefore they allow animal testing
    Always check the parent company if they stock in China

    • Hi Carole, thanks so much for highlighting this – yes you’re absolutely right, Burt’s Bees was sold to their now parent company Clorox, who does test on animals when selling in China for some of their other product lines. Apparently Burts Bees the brand does not. But I agree, if we’re voting for a brand with our dollars we’re effectively voting for whatever company owns them – and their ethics. These awards aren’t run by Eco Beauty Editor (we were just announcing who won) so unfortunately we didn’t get a say in who’s on the list.
